leboncoin accelerates its data-driven monetisation thanks to Mediarithmics

leboncoin, a leading French digital marketplace and part of the Adevinta group, has chosen mediarithmics as its Customer Data Platform (CDP) to power its next-generation data strategy. This partnership reflects leboncoin's ambition to transform audience insights into actionable strategies, boosting yield and optimising campaign performance through a scalable, advanced data ecosystem.

This partnership marks the beginning of the roll-out of the multi-market partnership signed earlier this year between mediarithmics and Adevinta—the European leader in classified advertising with 25 digital marketplaces and 2.5bn monthly visits. leboncoin alone attracts around 28.8 million unique visitors per month and displays at least 72 million classified adverts at any time. For both leboncoin and Adevinta, partnering with mediarithmics as a CDP that could successfully handle such large audience datasets was vital to the project.

Building a Seamless Data Foundation

As part of this collaboration, leboncoin aims to create a seamless foundation for data-driven campaign planning, targeting and optimisation, underpinned by mediarithmics’ unique flexibility and scalability. The platform’s advanced integration capabilities were pivotal in the decision, empowering leboncoin to significantly increase revenue from its audiences and inventory at scale.

Future use cases supporting marketing objectives will also be implemented. This will help to unlock the application of data at scale across the entire business, grow audiences and improve retention.
